Not everything is perfect. The house breathes its own air. Morning light through original glass, old floorboards that remember every gathering. You set the date. We set everything else.
A Jugendstil villa built in 1895. We are not the first family here. We intend to treat it like we won't be the last.
The main floor is designed to walk through — room to room, the way houses were built for people before they were built for photographs. On warm evenings the terrasse becomes another room entirely.
We are a family of creators, designers, and tech-forward thinkers who fell in love with the fading grandeur of this 1895 Jugendstil estate.
For us, Villa Oiva is more than a home — it is a 1,200 m² living laboratory where we blend photography, AI, and design with a slower, more intentional pace of life. Our days move between the digital and the analog: modern creative strategy alongside the seasonal rhythms of our permaculture garden.
We don't believe in the sterility of perfect spaces. We believe in the integrity of history, the beauty of patina, and the magic that happens when you bring people together under a roof that has its own soul.
We take a limited number of events each season. Every gathering is built from scratch, with you.
For the couples who want a wedding that feels like them — not like a venue. The house becomes yours. We cook, we photograph, we disappear when you need us to.
Milestone birthdays. Anniversaries. Reunions for families scattered across countries. A house that holds large tables and long evenings with equal grace.
For teams that think better away from their offices. Design studios, brand teams, architects — two or three days in a house that has always rewarded good ideas.
For brands that want a setting no hotel can offer. Product launches, summer parties, strategy off-sites, content shoots — in a house with soul, not a conference room with carpet.
Every meal is a reflection of our lifestyle — healthy, hearty, and rooted in the season we are currently in. We prioritise the integrity of the ingredient over the complexity of the technique. Our permaculture garden supplies what it can. The rest comes from producers we know by name.
Surrounded by parkland, clear lakes, old forests, and farmland. Completely secluded. Well connected.
Brandenburg. On foot: glass-clear lakes, large forests, organic farms, vineyards, the Elbe. By car: four of Germany's most interesting cities within two hours.
Every enquiry is read by us — not a booking system. Tell us the occasion, the approximate date, the number of people. We'll tell you honestly whether the house is right for it.
We open our doors in April and keep them open until October. We hold a maximum of two events per month. If you have a date, write early — weekends are booking fast.
The barn is not yet open to guests. The attic still has one corner mid-renovation. The garden is always slightly wild. This is part of it.
Film & photo productions, yoga retreats, pop-up dinners, corporate summer parties, workshops with AI & design tools. If in doubt, ask.
